Recommended use or purpose:

Used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve symptoms associated with menopause, such as hot flushes. Helps to support healthy mood balance during menopause. Used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve the pain associated with menstruation. Used in Herbal Medicine as a hormone normalizer to help stabilize menstrual cycle irregularities. Provides antioxidants.

Cautions and Warnings 

Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are breastfeeding or pregnant. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a liver disorder or develop symptoms of liver trouble. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you re taking hormone-containing medications such as progesterone preparations, oral contraceptives or hormone replacement therapy. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. If menstruation is delayed or absent, or if you experience increased menstrual bleeding time, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner. If you are taking blood thinners/anticoagulants, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking thyroid hormone replacement therapy. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a personal history of hormonal or gynecological disease including ovarian cancer, endometriosis and/or uterine fibroids. Before use, ensure that you are up-to-date on appointed clinical tests such as mammograms and endometrial ultrasounds/biopsies. If you are taking antidepressants, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. If you have high blood pressure, consult a health care practitioner prior to use.

Contra-Indications 

If you have allergy/hypersensitivity to members of the Apiaceae/Umbelliferae family (anise, caraway, carrot, celery, dill, parsley), do not use this product. If you have diarrhoea or haemorrhagic diseases, do not use this product. If you have hypermenorrhoea/profuse menstrual flow/heavy periods, do not use this product. Do not use if you currently have or previously had breast cancer or if you have a predisposition to breast cancer such as abnormal mammogram and/or biopsy, or a family member with a breast cancer. Discontinue use if you experience joint pain.

Known Adverse Reactions 

If you experience breast pain, discomfort and/or tenderness, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner. Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if you experience abnormal uterine bleeding including spotting and/or recurence of menstruation in postmenopausal women.
