Recommended use or purpose:

CleanseSMART Kit provides silymarin for liver protection and aloe for relieving occasional constipation through laxative action. CleaseSMART 1: For liver protection. CleaseSMART 2: Provides Aloe for relieving occasional constipation through laxative action.

Cautions and Warnings 

CleaseSMART 1: Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have diabetes, have stomach ulcers or excess stomach acid, have any cardiac disorder or are taking heart medication. Consumption with alcohol, other drugs or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended. CleaseSMART 2: Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a kidney disorder, are taking heart medications or have any cardiac disorder. Reduce dose or discontinue use if abdominal cramps, spasms, and/or pain occur. Do not use prior to, or after recent surgery.

Contra-Indications 

CleaseSMART 1: Do not take if pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use if you have liver or gall bladder disorders, bile duct obstruction and/or bowel obstruction. Discontinue use if you develop symptoms of liver trouble. Do not use if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family. CleaseSMART 2: Do not use if you are allergic to anethole or plants of the Apiaceae/Carrot family. Do not use if you currently have abdominal pain, nausea, fever, vomiting, hemorrhoids, or chronic gastrointestinal disorders. Do not use if you are taking licorice root, thiazide diuretics, corticosteroids, or drugs that may aggravate electrolyte imbalance. Do not use within 2 hours of other medicines. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Overuse or extended use may cause dependence for bowel function. Do not use if you have abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, potential or existing intestinal blockage, atonic bowel, appendicitis, inflammatory colon disease (e.g. Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis), abdominal pain of unknown origin, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, severe dehydration with depleted water or electrolytes, hemorrhoids or diarrhea. Discontinue use if you develop diarrhea.

Known Adverse Reactions 

Hypersensitivity, such as allergy, has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use.

Take 1 capsule 2 x daily or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
