Recommended use or purpose:
Helps reduce postoperative cheek swelling after dental surgery. Helps to reduce symptoms such as pain, quantity of secretion, inability to perceive smell and stuffy nose from ear, nose and throat infections. Turmeric is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as an anti-inflammatory to help relieve joint pain.
Risk Information:
Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking blood thinners (i.e. warfarin) or anti-inflammatory (i.e. acetylsalicylic acid, NSAIDs). Consult a health care practitioner if you have high blood pressure, bleeding disorders, hemorrhoids, hearth problems or gastrointestinal ulcers. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are going under a major trauma surgery. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have gallstones or a bile duct obstruction. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have stomach ulcers or excess stomach acid. If symptoms persist or worsen, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner. Hypersensitivity/allergy has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. If you are taking an antibiotic, consult a health care practitioner prior to use.
Contra-Indications
Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
